How to best prepare for your air conditioner to be installed may depend on what type of unit it is. Regardless, clearing the path to the installation area is important. You should also ensure the furnace room and that the outside area where the unit will be installed is accessible. It’s best to ask this question during your complimentary in-home assessment as every household and installation is unique.

Your new air conditioning unit should be installed in approximately 4 to 6 hours. However, this could vary depending on factors such as what type of unit is being installed and whether there is an old unit that needs to be removed. To keep things efficient, do your best to ensure that the installation areas are readily accessible.

It’s not absolutely necessary that you are home during your installation, but it is preferred that you are there to let us in and show us around. It’s also recommended that you are home towards the end of the installation, so we can show you how to properly use your new system and address any questions you may have.

This depends entirely on the amount of work being done. If you are simply upgrading a small ductless unit, it would not take as long as an entire forced air system might. If you have also purchased accessory packages that include upgrading things like air conditioning lines rather than using the old lines in your home, this will also cost more and take longer.
